On the 28th of May we all took a trip down to southport to support Edward Bailey in the Nabba British Finals.
After weeks and months of qualifiers up and down the country the day had finally arrived, the day all the top Nabba athletes compete to become british number 1. So of course we all packed up and headed down to give Ed as much suppport as we could. Since the qualifiers Ed had 5 weeks to work on his physique to make sure he brought a better package to the finals, so under the watchful eye of David Baker yet again, Ed was in the gym working as hard as ever to make sure he did exactly that.
Not only did Ed have to train 6-7 days a week he had to also juggle his training around a full time job, which can be hard while dieting for a competition. He also had to make sure his nutritional intake was on point, eating up to 7 meals a day each messerd out to a certain nutritional value.
As Ed put all this hard work and effort in, it was only right that we went to support him in style. Around 20 of us from gym members to Ed family and friends went down and showed Ed that he had a good level of support.
Edd walked away with 2nd place.
